The luck of the Newbie Trader

New traders often experience luck because they are unencumbered by negative emotions. They actually tend to do things better than more seasoned traders. They buy, take the heat, and don’t interfere with their success. New traders usually don’t overtrade or close positions early. They don’t fret over their decisions. They buy, and if the trend is with them, they benefit from newbie luck.

You may feel you should have more luck because you think you’ve learned things, but in reality, you’ve also picked up a lot of bad habits along with knowledge about the market. You've learned that you can lose, and it hurts when you do. A newbie has no clue it can go wrong
